I dont know anything about the Rhino liner but I know the Herculiner is really good stuff. Depending where you live though, this may not be the best time of year to do it. Unless of course you have a heated shop where you could do it. BE PATIENT!! I used the stuff on my black part of the bumpers and it worked great! I used an angle grinder with a sanding wheel to prep the surface. Same with the bed. Again, you have to be patient and take your time, trust me, it is worth it.

i was quoted over 700 to have the bed in my fullsize sprayed. then i went with the herculiner. did my bed and the rocker panels. blended right in on a black truck. like said before patients. it will take 8 hours for the job but in the long run it is worth every penny you have saved. and if it chips or cracks. down the road, just touch it up with a patch or two

I had my bed done with Line-x and love it....Worth every penny. Paid somewhere around $450 for it in April 2000 and it looks just as good today as it did when new.

If you have the $400 - $600 to get the line-x, do it. It is a great product.

With that being said, I didn't have the $$$ at the time, so I went over to Autozone & got myself a DIY kit. It took me most of the day for 2 coats. After a year, I saw some small areas that had scraped off, so I went back to Autozone and picked up a can of spray-liner for $6. Sprayed the bed & looks new again.

get it sprayed linex or rhino, def worth it... Else if you buy the herculiner crap, it is allright, but more like sand grains in paint..

I have the rhino liner on an '03, got it right after I bought the truck new. I have to say, I'm a little disappointed in the looks after a few years. Seems like it's faded more than it should compared to others I have seen. If I recall, the cost was around $450 or so and that was for over the rail also. My truck does sit outside in the summer alot, so not sure if that prematurely faded it or not. Just my experience.
