i have a 4.7L v8 in my 2000 dakota quad cab and i cannot find a cold air intake to save my life[:@][:@][:@][:@]. luckly i did at jegs for 305.95 and im not paying that is there ne luck out there???? unlesss i make it out of some autozone parts using an elbo some strait pipe and a filter witha mount i guess

Have you tried Ebay ? I just checked, and they have them from $15 to $55, everything included, even reusable filters.

ive looked a number of times and there all for the 5.2L and the 5.9L i cant find one that is cheap

Thank God for ABS. Ebay has17 of them listed right now that will fit your 2000 4.7. As low as 43.99 with shipping, and as high as 63.99 with shipping for the dual element one, "that is my preference". If any adapters are needed for emmissions hoses or other, they are included. I saw a picture of one somewhere where the actualfilter just goes onto the throttle body with an adapter, but can't find it now.43.99 isn't bad for a complete kit ?
