Default 98 Dakota with no heat

I have a 98 Dakota and the heat will not work. I have flushed the radiator and heater core and that did not work. the hose going into the heater core is hot but the one comming out is barely warm. a guy I work with said that it could be the mode door. Just wondering what anyone thought

I've got a '98 also-318 engine. Don't know if these animals have a heater control valve, but would be worth a look. Plugged heater core, low coolant. On some GM's, if the AC evaporator springs a leak, the oil from the AC system will trap dust and dirt and restrict air flow thru, causing a no-heat situation. (Had this problem on a 92 Skylark.)

If the hose going in is hot and the one coming out is cold then it sounds like a plugged heater core. if you can get Coca Cola inside the heater core and let it sit for 30-45 mins and then blow it out itll take out anything that shouldnt be in there.
