Whenever I turn the heater on or A/C for that matter I still get the same noise. But ONLY when either of this is on. Doesn't matter what speed or temp. It sounds like its coming from inside the dash. Happens about every 10-15 seconds. Just sounds like something is rattling. Any ideas where to start?

Hmm, well its kinda hard to explain it. But it sounds more so like something is rattling. I know that doesn't really help much. Sounds like.... Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta. Then it stops for about 15 seconds. Then starts again.

 

sounds likethe evap purge solenoid thats what i've narrowed my noise down to and it sounds like the same one you have. i haven't decided yet if im going to try and muffle it because i heard that the mount its on lets it be that loud or get a new one 24.95 on moparpartsamerica.com. its a solenoid so its gonna make a noise i just feel that a new one would be a little quieter because mine is so stinkin loud. I haven't gotten around to trying to fix it yet though its been cold out and im busy with school.

 

How hard are those things to change?
