Default vaccum port not conected

moe in wichita ks
i have a 01 dak 3.9 v 6 i just found a vac port that the hose has broken off. the port is on the right side of the int manafold, right under the throdle body about 4-5 inches. it seams to have full manafold vaccum. but i cant findany hoses not hooked to any thing. i cant find any canasters ect that are missing any hoses. i cant find the broken hose. the manual i downloaded is of no help, nor is the decal on the hood any help. is this why iam getting bad mpg? dah. does any one know where this is to go? thanks mopar or no car.

Well not quite sure. Send a picture. The brake booster andPCV valve are the only things that hook to the manifold I believe. Plug it off for now though. Vacuum leaks are BAAAD.

lol nope. If the picture you're posting is on the internet, just right click on it, click on properties, then copy the adress. Then in your post click the little box with the picture of the mountain on it and paste the address.

i thought i did that. anyway i just pluged it off. a decal on the hood calls the port a climent control port used on 4x4 if so equiped. i think it was pluged from the factory and the end came off. it idies better of course, maybe my mpg will get better. what think? mopar or no car.
