Mine has 160k miles...i have 10w-30 in it now.... too thin?
What size tires u got on it? i just put 205-70 on it seems to lost a little power but im okay with that considering the traction gains...
Also how may quarts of oil do you put in yours? the guy at advance said 4.. so i put it and it was overfull.... so i drained it and changed oil filter.... refilled with new oil.....now it says "safe"....whats the deal? oh yeah first fill was 10-w40 second was 30.
Last but most important.....Where is the fuel filter located (in detail) and how hard is it to change? also can u change the filter without changing the whole assembly? w/b soon!

the filter is in the tank, it can be replaced but you gotta drop the tank down to do it, (i'll post a how-to when i replace my bed)
your oil should be good, i've got 10w30 in mine, the 40 takes up a little more room thats why it was overfull, did you start the truck and let the oil circulate for a bit?
my tires are 31x10.5 in the rear and 30x9.5 in the front
i'll be replacing them w/ 215/45r20 when these tire wear out
i think i put 4 quarts in mine

Thanks alot fearless....Helped alot. Be sure to notify me when you put that how-to up... i really need to do that. Oil seems to be fine...one more issuei was wondering about is gas mileage...mine seems to suck! Seems to get around....20mpg give or take a couple....but i expected alot better...is that average or do you get better?

considering that there is more truck then motor
20 is good, thats what i get usually. when i got the truck i was getting 15 or so.
I almost got up to 25 over the summer on one tank. never got that close again
