Hey guys...long story short, totaled out my durango on tues night and I'm buying a Dakota R/T now. What's the widest tire I can put on a stock 17" R/T rim? I have a brand new pair of BF Goodrich P315/35ZR17's but I think they'll be too wide...anyone know?!

 

Yeah that will be way to wide for a Dak even if you use off set spacers, I have had 275's on with no issue but would not try anything wider.

 

285's I bet would fit. 275's would be safe though and are plenty wide on a 17" wheel. I have 295's on my rims, but they are 9.5" wide instead of the factory 9" wide. Up fron the widest I could fit was 255's.
