i know this isnt about a dodge dakota but any feedback would be great. I recently did head gaskets on an 01 jeep grand cherokee with a 4.7L V8. when i started it up afterwards its idling really rough and low. any suggestion? thanks in advance.

errr, that doesn't sound too good. Maybe it didn't seal properly when you put the heads on? Might also need to prime the engine up a bit, also computer was probably rest which might have caused a problem.

Head gaskets on a 4.7 are fun aren't they? Especially without the special tool to hold the two cam chains in place :-)
