What is the best trailer hitch for a 2001 Dakota? I'll be pulling an aluminum fishing boat that does not weigh very much. I have found all of the brands mentioned in the poll locally and they are pretty similar in price, with the reese being the least expensive.

 

any class 3 will pull more than you will ever need and more than your truck will tow, they are all good so if it were me id go for least expensive.

 

They are all about the same, but I went witha hidden hitch. I like it because all you see is the 2" receiver and the rest is tucked away behind the bumper. Easy installation and good fitment. I got if from JCWhitney.com for a good price.
