Heater Blower
Hello,
Hope all is well. I started my truck this morning and turn on the blower no blower ok,went to work anyway, going down the road and the blower comes on cool. 2 days later no blower again. What do you guys think? I am seeing alot about the res.pack but not sure this is it because its comes and goes. Before I start buying parts like to know what you guys think it might be.
Thanks for your help

does it work on the highest setting? If so, then it is the resistor. If it doesnt work at all, check for power and ground at the blower motor connector, if you have power and ground, you need a blower motor.
well, if its an intermittent problem and the motor is working then try wiggling the wires that go into it. If there is a break in the wire, that should show it. You could also have a bad switch, hard to tell.
my res. went out4 times .... and the blower did not work at all 3 out of the 4 times ....then the 4th time it was just like yours (but not cold air) and what i found was the wireing plug melted to the res. and could not get them apart... went to dodge dealer and the know about the problem cause the sell the res. and the plug... you have to cut wires and all that crap.... hopes this helps out...
