Hey guys, I just bought a 1998 Dakota sport since I totalled out my durango.(V6) I'm looking to find a dakota or durango with a blown engine so I can put my nice 400hp 5.9 in it from my crashed durango, if anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know. (not lookin to spend alot!)

i'd trade dak for dak, but i don't want a clubcab or a v6

i don't see many daks around here, i even looked in the tradin times the other day and found 1

 

well, id be swaping everything from the durango to the dakota if it's a v6, easiest would be find another 5.9 dakota...

 

so wait a minute, you wrecked your durango with the 400 hp 5.9, you just bought a dakota sport with a 3.9, but you want to buy another dakota or durango with a blown engine to swap your 5.9 into?
I dont think i can help you but im just trying to get it strait.
If I had the cash I would make an offer for that engine though.

 

I only bought this V6 dakota because when I foud it online it said Dakota R/T, 95,000 miles,5.9, loaded, needs little work. I drove 2hrs away andthis R/T turned out to be a dakota sportand I said screw it and bought it for a winter beater till I can find something worth putting my nice engine in. I wouldn't waste my time or $$ putting my engine in this truck. If I get a V8 dakota, I can install the engine in a day or two. I could buy an R/T right now but it has 160,000 miles on it! I want to try and find one with lower miles and a decent body, NO RUST!
