Default Exhaust Question

I have a 2000 3.6 4x4 and have been hearing something from under the truck. It's toooo cold to get under there just yet . Do I have stainless exhaust pipes and/or muffler???

i'm guessig you meant to type a 9 cuz the V6 is a 3.9 but anyways it could be some sort of leak mine had a horrible one after i got my new cat on. i know some exhaust systems are stainless but im not sure if they all are.

No, not stainless if stock. Hard to say what the problem is with so little info.

Wow thanks for the fast reply. I'm to old and to fat to get under there in the cold so it looks like April or May. It sounds like an exhaust leak so for now we'll just let it leak.

I have one too just after the cat where the clamp is. I thightened the clamp and now I get a whistle. My fix is going to be pull off old system and install a catback dual! No more messing around. Besides, I have need an E-test in April so I can't have any leaks.
