Default recall

Took my 01 in yesterday for the ignition-shifter interlock recall. Took about a half hour and the tech and I could see no discernable difference in the parts other than the one he took out was silver and the replacement was gold in color. I was having no problems at all with the ignition or the shifter is anyone else? I guess free new parts are OK but I was there the whole time watching to be sure he did the job right and didn't screw something else up in the process. The "regular"Dodgetech (who I trust)was out sick and I'd never seen this guy before.

i got the recall too but i dont think im going to bother taking it in because mine doesnt shift into gear without it on. I dont have kids or anything that might try to put it into gear so its no big deal to me, plus there's always the risk of them screwing something else up while fixing it.

+2, let alone i cant afford to be with out my daily driver, and i made it a good habit to use the e-brake even with an automatic

I think it's just for 01-02 automatics.
