I had a mechanic read the codes on my 02 dakota and he recommends a new solenoid pack, I then borrowed a reader from a friend and read the codesP0846, P0732 and P0845.This looks more like it might be a sensor to me, judging from the code descriptions. But I don't really have a clue. I just thought someone here might have an opinion on this. Thanks

 

 

Moe do you have that saved? every time anything about a trans comes up that is what you say.

yes i have it saved in a wordpraseser. i just copy and paste it. cause i dont know that much about trans. but the dudes at A and Reds do. i have known Leon Autry from the 60s. like my post says 90% of all trans shops get there parts from A and Reds. i hope you are not upset about my posts. iam just trying share what little i know.

thanks Moe, I'll give them a call, I was hoping there might be some transmission guys on here, to maybe get an opinion from also. I have heard different comments from rebuild the transmission, to change the solenoid pack, to change the line pressure sensor.

i am totaly old school, only 3 gears in trans, carbs not injection, points in the distribor.
pardon my spelling. not that the new stuff isnt good.
