Default Reisntalling Drums

Got a little problem here. I was in the middle of replacing the shoes on my rear brakes when I tripped over some stuff in the garage andbroke my wrist. The left side has no shoes but does have the drum back on. The right side has the shoes but I cant get the drum back on. Can I just put the tire back on and w/o the drum and drive approx 5-6 miles to the shop so they can finish the job? Will either side suffer catastophic breakdown ifI do this?

no you cannot do that. you will blow your rear wheel cylendars out and you'll have no brakes. you will either have to get it towed to a shop or get some one to come over and help you finish the job.
