What does it sound like when they go? I have noticed quite a bit of squeeling coming from under my hood lately but it comes and goes.

my 88 has had a bad throwout bearing for over 2 years, you can hear it rattling and squeeling like crazy whenever the clutch isnt depressed, but so far it hasnt grenaded. then again everything on that truck is tougher than a dollar steak. They dont make trucks (including daks) like that anymore.

Mine is not squealing by any means. I was in a drive thru and noticed a minute noice when I took my foot of the clutch in neutral and it went away when I pushed it in just a bit. I freak out about any little noise I hear. I had a 63 Valiant that screamed like a big dog for years without issue.
