I dont need all the explanation to why or why I shouldn't do this mod. We have thoroughly discussed this topic about the open-element air cleaner in the 2nd gen Ram section. I just want to know if its possible to Put a 14x3 air cleaner onDakota with a 318, will it fit between cowl and motor?

 

Yes, it's possible. Did it to my 5.9 R/T. You need a dropped base (don't remember the part #). Did it for the looks.

mine used to be nice and clean like that, then i had to tear apart everything and didnt feel like making it perfect again.
