where to find painted grill and bumper
Sometime over the spring/summer i want to replace both bumpers and the grille. Mine is all chrome and my rear bumper is rusting pretty bad. I figured i might as well get a rollpan from socal dakota because i like the looks of them anyway. I also have decided I might as well replace the front chrome and chrome grill with white painted ones to go along with the look. Anyone know where to find them?
yup and yup,
just sand it real nice, with 120 grit then 220 grit, primer it and you're set to paint
the lower valence will need a little more work to remove the texture,
sand it (lightly so you dont gouge it) with 60 grit, use a high build primer, sand with 220,primer,sand again with 220, repeat until its totally smooth, then paint.
i can get a rattle can paint to look factory, all you really need is some patiance.
