Default Power steering pump

Sorry to start an entire new thread about my problem, but it has actually turned into something entirely different then I thought. The shop said my squeeling was due to both my idler and belt tensioner pulley having play. Also my power steering pulley is bent so thats why its been sounding really bad. I had them do the first two pulleys for $190 because i didnt have the other $290 they quoted me for a new power steering pump. I was just wondering if I really need an entirely new pump? Can I just replace the pulley or get a used pump? Any input would be appreciated. 99 Dak 4x4 3.9l 5 Sp.

I would if I had $300, thats why I am asking about this. I actually found the pumps new on napa for a third of the price the shop was trying to charge me for it. Can i just buy one of those and have them put it in?

um i would just buy the pump from napa, they should put it in. just tell them your dont appreciate them screwing you on parts costs. have them give you your old pump back so you can take it to napa, they will charge you a core more than likely. It shouldnt cost you over 50$.

Do I need one with a reservoir? They said my power steering pump(i thought just the pulley but they said i have to replace the entire thing??) is bent and thats why it is continuously squealing pretty bad. Is it a bad idea to drive it 150 miles home so I can have a different mechanic look at it while I'm there this weekend? I dont think I would be able to replace it myself to be honest.
