Default Rear sliding window removal

Does anyone know if you can just angle out the part of the rear window that slides. I wanna get a better look at the ripped or damaged rubber part and see if i could gorilla glue it or something just to get through the summer and it would be easier if i could remove the middle glass piece that actually slides. Thanks for any input.

can't be done, the window is built as a one-piece install, so if you get the slider out, you throw the window out in the first place

Someone broke the middle glass out of mine while we were in a movie theater, and I hoped just to be able to replace the glass, but had to change out the whole window.

yes you can

just remove the platic track that the window slides on, starting with the top one

once removed the glass has more room to move and be able to pulled out

What is stupid, The dealer said the window was damaged beyond repair. It looked to me like the glass could have just been repaired, butI guess when they kicked it out, they bent something. It cost me $50 deductible to change the window, so why mess with it.

i hope your right. i haven't had the chance to look at it in depth yet since its been at home getting the rear rebuilt but ill have it back tomorrow when i go home so ill check it out. hopefully if i can jimmy it out somehow ill have a better chance of fixing it because i really dont have the money right now to replace the whole window since its just one little thing thats broken. i guess ill just have to deal with it if i cant fix it. any suggestions on sometime of glue or apoxy that would have the best strength of holding it if i can somehow figure out a way to at least try that?

My rear sliding window came off of the track in my Ram and I cannot seem to get the glass out. Does anyone know if you can remove them and adhere the plastic slides back to the sliding glass and re-install?
