Default Wont Idle, Stalls Out, After Replacing Intake Manifold Gasket

I have a 2001 dodge dakota 3.9L 4wd. i just replaced my Plenum Gasket and Intake Manifold gaskets, after putting everything back together i tried starting the truck but it stalls out and wont idle at all, i rechecked all my hoses and electrical connections and found that i missed one, the electrical connection at the back of the throttle body, i replaced it, and tried starting it but no diffrence, i can find any vacuum hoses i may have left off or electrical connections, i have a check engine light on, any ideas?

definately, you absolutely NEED TO TORQUE TO SPECS. that cast aluminum expands and shrinks like you wouldnt believe. Try reading the codes and then find out what they are. Since your CEL is on im sure you have some codes. Also, try cranking it and holding the gas pedal down a bit while the idle is rough. if it eventually evens out, you probably have a problem with your Throttle Position Sensor, it's located on the right hand side of the throttle body. Make sure it is hooked up, and not on upside down.

Assuming that there is nothing wrong with the install i.e. no vacuum leaks, all sensors are connected, etc. Did you disconnect the battery when you took the intake off? If you did, it may take your IAC awhile to reset. As the IAC ages, it sometimes can be hard to get it to reset so the truck will idle right. Try driving it with the A/C on for a few miles. It probably won't idle and you will have to keep it running, but if everything else is right, this is a sure fix.
