Default another engine swap question

my 4 banger has seen better days. its only got 115000 miles but it ticks like a clock. im am going do the V8 swap. so here are the questions......

engine:
318 or 360?...obviously the 360 but i want a 5 speed. what do i do as far as a fly wheel?

trans:
i love driving 5 speed so that is what i want. will the 3.9 5 speed trans hold up?

rear end:
i called the local junk yard and they told me that my rear end will work i just need to change the gears

computer:
if i go with the 318 i can find a 5 speed computer. if i go with the 360 will i have to get a custom burnt computer becuase 360 did not come with a 5 speed computer, and where can i get this done?

i probly forgot something so if i need do do anything else to make this swap posible let me know. thanks

ever thought about the computer from a ram that had a 5 speed. and you could use the whole tranny and fly wheel

360 is better, but externally Balanced.

Just make sure it has the weights on the flywheel/Flex Plate.

It is possible just a bit harder to do. The mounts are line up.

I don't see why you'd need to change gears. The2.5L enginewould probably have come with some of the shorter gear ratios (like 3.55 or 3.92). These would be great for a 5.9L engine.

sounds like an aweful lot of work to me. i dont know for a fact but when its all said and done it might be worth just getting a new truck. its going to cost more than the truck is worth to do all those changes...or id just replace the 4cyl and maybe do a few mods to it.
