Default New to Dodge

Hello everyone! I am new here. Just bought a 2002 Dakota SLT Quad Cab with a 5.9. I am open to any and all suggestion about how to get more performance. I would love to know what you guys recommend about:

Intake
Exhaust
Audio
Toppers
Forced Induction
And any other Mods that are worth doing

I will be searching these forums to get some great ideas, but if anyone wants to help me out....Great

Pictures will come soon.

A Fastman Throttle Body is important... DF member get a discount.

I have a K&N FilterCharger Cold Air Intake on my 94 Ram and a Mopar CAI on the blue 4x4.

The 94 has a Mopar Performance Cat Back and the blue 4x4 has a Flowmaster American Thunder II Cat Back.

Audio, I go Sony... I have RF Subs...

The key is to make the truck breathe better first... CAI, Throttle Body, Headers, Intake Manifold and Exhaust... at leasts, that's the first step I always recommend... it needs more air to breathe better, to go faster...

Nitrous!!!! = cheapest Horse Power. [:-]

Otherwise,
Cold air induction is good, I recommend intense performance stage 3 $200 maybe 10 hp.
Headers, highflow cat, Flows or Gibsons... $800 maybe 15-20 hp.
Throttle body would be nice $250 maybe 5-10 hp.
M1 intake manifold would be nicer! $375 maybe 20-25 hp
Cam only has a mild 410 lift on intake and exaust, 1.7 rolloer rockers help that. $250 maybe 10-15 hp
B&G Chrysler make an "M1 Flash" for your computer. (Google search B&G Chrysler) This is a MUST!!! $450 maybe 25-30 hp.
3.92 rear end is always nice.
Stock heads suck.
New spark plug wires help.
MSD Ignition helps.

Those hp figures are estimates off of my 2001 Dakota R/T. if you spent the $2,300 on the top 6 items, you would be amazed. For a cheaper route:
New highflow intake $75, Catback exaust $400, B&G "M1 Flash"... Less than a thousand bucks, more than 40 horse power...

If you can give me a price range... I can configure you a nice little setup.
