LMAO! Don't worry it happens to all of us at one point. You must've got them pretty mixed up to end up with only one speaker working though.[sm=bustedsign.gif]

Well the little things I used to splice the wires didn't work. I almost cut 1 ground wire all the way through and the other 2 speakers just were not getting good connections. I have repaired the wires and just rigged them to work now and will be getting the quick connects from Crutchfield, then I'll do it right. Did feel like a goober when I pulled the speakers to check though.

Yeah you have to be careful with those cheap-o wire taps.

Loudpedal45- I highly doubt the monsoon speakers are any better than an aftermarket set of pioneers. Most OE speakers aren't that great even when they claim to be "name brand"

Well....lol

I aquired them....

A wrecked Quad Cab Chevy Silverado was traded into the dealership I work at. The owner owns a part time stereo installation business. We had a door panel off because it was hit in the rear door and rocker panel. One of the Techs noticed a crossover in the door and him being 55 years old he asked what it was, I knew instantly and looked at it, its a Diamond Crossover, and Im thinking "Holy Fckin Sht, JACKPOT!" My boss said if I take them out and replace them and make sure they all work then he knows nothing about it. So low and behold.

What I aquired:
(2) 6" Diamond Audio Woofers
(2) 1" Diamond Audio Dome Tweeters
(2) Diamond Crossovers for above mentioned speakers
(2) Polk Audio -Momo 6 1/2" Coaxial speakers with swiveling tweeters
(2) Polk Audio -Momo Crossovers

I put Durabrand speakers and tweeters back in

Cool score!

I just wanted to let everybody know that the Pioneer's I put in sound really good for only have the stock stereo. I am going to do more upgrades later, but couldn't pass the deal I got on these. I paid $55 for 4 Pioneers at Best Buy because they are having a big Pioneer sale right now. I also noticed that I have factory wiring for tweeters in the front door panels, so I will prob go component in the front when I get my amp put it. Gotta space it out, life is expensive w/3 kids.

Thanks for everybody's help.
