I am looking to raise my 98 dakota. I just want to give it 2 inches but I cannot find a lift kit for a dakota much less a 4x2. Please help!!! Also, IF I am able to do this will I need to change any of the steering components?

 

I would like to do a mild lift on mine as well. My truck is a regular cab long bed 5.2 slt. 2 or 3"s. I dont want to spend tons of $ on it either since I'm doing this just for a little more clearance and because the long bed looks goofy with the damn truck sitting at stock height. Thankfully it has the same 6 bolt wheels that come on the durangos so it doesnt have the dinky rims like the others have. If anyone knows of a kit for us come on and help us out!

 

would love to hear back on this one too i wish my 98 rode higher than it does, i just assumed it was the fact that it was a 4x2 but hearing about raising the truck sounds like a good idea to me
