Default High+low beam mod?

has anybody modded their headlight switch to keep the lows on when you use the brights?
i'm thinking of giving it a shot, might use a separate toggle switch....

If you have the single halogen bulb (9007), I wouldn't do it. The bulb will quickly overheat with both elements burning at once.

You can do it easily with relays. With headlights like yours it will be fine, this should never be done with a single bulb setup for obvious reasons. I'm not sure the exact way it needs to be wired but on my 95 Chevy I installed a Painless wiring kit which used a relay to keep the lows on when I turned on the highs, no extra switch needed. It was amazingly bright too, my friends compared it to daylight for the area it covered.

This is what I used: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/G...amp;sku=13359G
You could try contacting Painless Wiring to ask if any of the existing kits would work with your setup.

i've seen that kit, i'm gonna see if i can figure a way to do it for like no money, but if not i can just get their universal kit and make that work.
i don't mind an extra switch, it'll go with my interior theme when i do it
