it isnt that easy.just changing fluid that way on an automatic is like changing the engineoil without changing the filter. fluid will last for a long, long time unless you are really hard on your tranny. if you are going to do it right, the bands need to be adjusted along with a fluid and filter change....a shop is better equiped for that kind of job and it is worth the little extra money to get them to do it ratherthan trying to mickey mouse a half *** tranny cleaning. a person is wasting thier time and money just changing fluid.

 

ya i wouldnt even touch the bands myself, and you dont need to adjust them everytime you do a fluid change unless you beat the **** out of the transmission, but i get mine flushed every 25,000 miles, had mine rebuilt back in june, cooked the whole unit, $2500 whoopsie, now had the fluid fluid flushed last week with 23,XXX miles on the rebuilt unit, watched the guy do the entire flush, and fluid change, fluid came out clean, in the long run its worth it
