I have a set of 33" on 15 inch rims from my 1998 durango that had a 6 inch lift in it and want to know if they will fit on a 2003 dakota quad cab that has 16 stock wheels. Any help would be awesome!
The Dakota will have to be lifted, but they should fit. I have a '97 2WD that has a 3" body lift, and that HAD 32x11.50 tires on the stock 15x7 wheels. They fit fine except for tire rubs at full steering lock. I would imagine your '03 Dakota would have to have at least a body lift and/or torsion bar adjustment, if it's a 4WD model.
Hy thanks for the info. I plan on putting a 3 inch body lift in. The question I really have is will the 15 inch rims fit on the newer trucks that come stock with 16 inch rims?
I think so. I don't think the brake size changed, requiring the 16" wheel. I'm sure the spares were still 15" wheels also -- so that would give you a definite answer.
