Default Revs High

My 1998 3.9 V6 dakota revs up to 3000 rpms when im in park when i just barely tap the peddle. I probly just push the less then a 1/2 inch and the revs shoot up to 3000 and then slowly come back down, about 300 miles ago i put on a 97 V8 5.2 throttle body but put the v6 sensors back on it, i think its a sensor but not shure which one, or could it possably be getting stuck, this really suprised me because since the new TB my trucks been really slow excelleration and if not for the inproved mpg i was going to go back to stock

mine either idles high or low, period.
but i've got plenty of other little issues to work out
my guess is either the iac or a leaky vaccum line

I still think that TB is way too big....however.....

Check your IAC and TPS. They are probably dirty. Take them off and clean with a good cleaner that is designed specifically for TPS. If you need some help on how to do this, just hollar. Ill be glad to help ya out...
