i just got a 3" body lift with all the parts ive never done one before

it is pretty easy just undo all the body mount bolts and jack up or have some friends help lift the cab and bed, just slide the spacers in and bolt it back up. then put on your new bumper brackets. oh and do not forget to put the steering extender in.

 

Just go slow, and make sure you have everything lined up before you start lifting. I just removed a 3" body lift from my '97. I'm sure removal was quicker than installation, but it still took less than 4 hours with a neighbor helping.

 

Oh and remember to install the lift block ABOVE the upper body bushing (for the cab mounts), not INSTEAD OF it. After installation, you should still have two bushings at each cab mount (one above and one below the frame mount), and then the lift block on top.
