Default What "Chip" options do I have?

I have a 2003 4.7, and a friend of mine has a 2001 4.7. What options are out there for aftermarket chips? Have any of you tried them with noticable success? Our main goal would be to increase horsepower! Other than the chip, what options do we have to increase horsepower without spending a fortune?

Any help would be appreciated...

Superchips MicroTuner works great on my 2003 4.7l dodge dakots 4x4
I got mine through socal motorsports.
I had to send it back to superchips for an update.
It has a code reader and can clear engin lights which is very nice.

it will first copy your origional program then give you 3 programing options.
87 octane performance
92 octane performance
92 octane towing

I have tried the 87 octane performance program and it works very very well the shift points and extra horse power
are great for my type of driving.

there are also options in the program that allow you to adjust your spedo for differant tire sizes
you can also play with the rev limiter and the max speed. I left these at supertuners default for the program i used.
I hope this helps brad

Superchips Tuner, CAt-Back exhausts, CAI's, headers, that's pretty much it without going internal.

you can try www.thefastman.com. i know that there are throttlebodies there. i think they run about $180 they have roller rockers, which you might want to consider also, pricey, but easy to install.
