hey, my trruck had this code in it when i bought it last august, ce light would come on and then go back off after a couple days and then maybe a week later come on again. I just replaced both o2 sensors and no light for over a month now. funny thing is it was also throwing a code for misfire on third cylinder, even after changing plugs, wires, cap, and rotor; and that hasn't eventurned the light back on.

Mine had a P0138. I cleared it with a scanner, and it didn't come back on for the longest time. Then it started popping on just a few days after I'd cleared it. So I just replaced the O2 sensor (yes, the rear one, after the converter). I bought a Denso sensor from Rockauto.com, for $55 shipped. I may eventually replace the front one also, but haven't yet. No codes returned yet!
