The dash airbag light comes on when the passenger side airbag switch is on. The dash light goes out when the switch is turned off. No codes set when scanned. 1999 Dodge Dakota with 5.2L Any ideas ?

 

Is the lightbulb on the passenger airbag switch burned out?
This is often a cause for this. If the light is on (the switch illumination, not the dash) in one position, and not the other - the switch illumination bulb itself may be bad...

 

Burned out bulb on the switch was my problem. I soldered a new bulb on the override switch and that resolved the issue. That's the first place I would check
