Ball joint removal

Default Ball joint removal

Anybody out there have any pointers on ball joint removal (lowers) . My son is trying to remove with a ball joint press and the will not move. We have tried heat and PB blaster. Please help us

you can go to www.ehow.com and click in the search pane, cv joint. Then click the video tab on top of the pane. It shows video on how to remove the ball joint and driveshaft. Real cool stuff, and the explainer dude looks like an ex-con...lol - hey, them dudes got talent too, but too stupid to put there expertise to use in the real world.

well first you need to get a tetness (i cant spell) shot, a box of bandages, and a case of beer....then you need a high speed drill and drill the studs out about 3/4 of the way then hit them with a punch and a hammer. you might need to heat them up....i just did my uppers and lowers on both sides. pain in the *** but i save alot of $$$.
