Problem Code Reader Suggestions

Question is three fold.
1. Looking to buy a Code Reader for my Chrysler/Dodge products. (02 Dakota, 98 Ram, 2 Prowlers)
2. What type or model reader is needed to read codes and reset? (ODB - ODB II)
3. Under a cost of $100.00?

i know advanced auto parts sells a code reader for $50 and all it does is read codes and erases codes
