Default Need Help!!

So I have a 2000 Dakota 4.7 4X4 Manual. When I start my truck and it is in gear it jumps forward. Like if you was to let out the clutch without giving it gas and it jumps forward and stalls. That is what my truck is doing but it starts. If I put it in neutral and start it then it starts up just fine. Also it is giving me problems shifting. Sometimes it shifts just fine and others it doesn't shift at all. Any ideas on what that could be?

so its in gear and you have your foot on the clutch and it jumps forward? not 100% sure but sounds like the clutch could be bad on it

Well I just replaced the Clutch, Pressure Plate, Flywheel and the throwout bearing about 2 years ago. It only has about 10,000 miles on the new clutch. I was thinking it might be my Clutch Master Cylinder but I wanted to get some opinions before I spent $100 on a hunch

hmm not sure then but you do have to do both the clutch master and slave if you do it because its only servicable together you can't bleed it if you do one or the other

Ya I know and it really sux. Before I spend the money on the slave though I have an idea that I would like to try.Take off the slave cylinder, push in the push rod and disconnect both retaining bands of the retaining straps and then release the push rod and allow it to fully extend. Tip the slave cylinder up to about 45 degrees and pour the hydraulic fluid into the hydraulic port until all the air has been expelled. Then with the Slave still tipped up I insert the clutch hydraulic tube in the slave cylinder hydraulic output port and insert the retaining pin. Then I am going to take the cap off of the master cylinder and slowly push the push rod back in and reconnect the two bands of the restraining strap. And the lines should be free of air.Do you think that would do it? It is a shot in the dark but I figured what the hell if it doesn't work then I will buy the slave cylinder.
