Default Cold Air Intake Question

Stock box with a K&N filter and I'd like to remove the plastic routing tube that goes from the bottom of the box to the fender to pull in cold air.
About the only place to mount my bubbler from my experimental HHO system.

Aside from pulling in warmer air, which some of the filter mods do anyways that do not use the box, are there any issues with me removing it?

Thanks,
Shawn

As long as you don't go mudding and submerse your truck into water, you'll be fine. That's the only potential risk, you could POSSIBLY waterlog the engine if water were to be shot into it (make sure you don't have water shoot around that area when washing it!)... but that's the only reason it doesn't come stock like that. Enjoy CAI!
