broke the secondary o2 sensor when trying to replace. bummer. will have to tear it up tommorrow. how long can you drive without it. what harm will it do. the one behind the cat. thanks richie 2000 dakota sport. it seems to run fine without but want to know if i need to make some short trips before i get this torn up sensor out 3.9l 6 cly

 

should be ok, you will toss a code for the rear sensor though, disconnect the battery for 5 minutes to clear the code once it's fixed. as long as the front sensor is in good shape, it'll run fine.

 

thanks alot, I just might have to drive it that way for a few days. I couldent get it out today. going to have to drop the pipe i think.
