the guy did not brake but closed the gap on me and dug the side of his bumper into my bed side. once we make contact he turn the wheel into my truck until i was driving what felt like an angle! there was some arguing after we pulled to the side and he refused to exchange information. i called the city police and the officer issued us info forms to fill out. the guy demanded a report and insisted that i get a ticket. the officer took one look at the dakota and his truck and must have known the guy was just looking for a check. the guy was still persisting as the officer shut the cruiser door in his face and left the scene.

 

i know it could have been my fault and i hate to be the driver who needed to change lanes in heavy traffic, but i've been cut off a thousand times and the normal reaction is to avoid the accident, brake a little, flip the bird and move on. NOT ram your vehicle into another when the situation was totally avoidable IMO.
i wish i could post the pictures of this guy's truck from my cell phone!!

 

PS the guy was right in front of me on the way to work monday morning!! (wreck happened on FRI) i stayed away from him but witnessed him blocking out some lady in a ford escape who needed to get over in just about the same area! i let her in. thus: jerk in a piece of s truck!

I just bought one from socal dakota. I got it, and it seems to be like rubber/plastic material, I was expecting steel or fiberglass. Do you think it will still work well? I have a friend who will paint it and should look fine but seems kinda weak.

 

it's made of urethane. flexable and durable, no paint cracking on impact. not sure on pros and cons.

 

cool, Im a casual indians fan, im also a big fan of great lakes beer. i make it up to cleveland atleast once a year. concert, game, cedarpoint, put in bay exc.. I got pretty dizzy one night up there in cleveland at the "flats" i just went to the rock n roll hall of fame last month. anyway... more dodge talk...
