Default Quicker way to get to closed loop?

I have been thinking all this time that my transmission is going out but someone mentioned today that its just my engine running hard till it hits closed loop. Anybody know of a way to get this to happen faster? My truck has 100400 miles on it and its v6 3.9 automatic.I don't know if it helps any but the radiator is brand new.

Check your tranny fluid, sounds dumb, but when my truck sat for 5 months waiting for me to put the new engine in it, it leaked some fluid, and when i finally got it running i thought the tranny needed replaced, it would reve way up when i floored it, and then jam into the gear, my fluid level was off the stick, after filling her back up, i've not had any problem!

I checked it after letting it sit for hours and fluid is over the curve on the stick but when it heats all the way up it looks fine on the dip stick. But after its been running the fluid has bubbles in it.

A block heater may help a little.
