my ac compressor froze up the truck wont start it did and was smoking the belt the car is at my freinds house. i need to get it home tommrow morning is there a different size belt that i could put on to bypass the ac thanks so much for your help

Yes just go to any local auto parts store and ask for the belt for your truck WITHOUT the AC.. pull the old belt off, and put the new one on bypassing the ac..

the belt for a non a/c truck will be too short. I had to bypass the a/c on my 99 and the belt if 2" longer then the belt with out a/c I think. I know I tried it and it was too short. its either 2-2.5" longer

i called the parts store they dont got a belt for my truck for without ac
