OS Heater Circuit Malfuntion code?
I've got a 2001 Dakota 4.7L Quad Cab and I've been having fun dealing with codes lately... A little back-story (not sure if related to current problem or not) is that two weeks ago my check engine light came on indicating codes P0441 (evap) & P0301 (cylinder #1 misfire), my truck was also overheating... due to advice from mechanic replaced spark plug #1 (it was corroded and definitly needed to be replaced). After replacing the spark plug both above the existing codes cleared.
Two days later my keyfob, electronic door locks, and lights stopped working on the truck. After doing some research I think this is probably a malfuntion in the CTM; however, I reset the battery and everything is working fine right now - but I wouldn't be surprised if the problem came up again.
OK - now here's the problem. I have a NEW code - P0155 (02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfuntion - bank 2 sensor 1). I'm not finding a lot online about this code - will replacing the sensor solve the problem? It's a $100 part and if there is a simple fix (or a problem related to any of the above codes that may have not been corrected) please help! I've also checked and I am not able to get the current oxygen sensor off (is there an easy DIY or trick that I'm not aware of?) or am I going to have to go to the stealership?
Thanks!
