Nope, not yet, but I did read your earlier post of when you did it about replacing the whole system, which I intend to do. But what you just said about taking it out through the engine bay with the slave is a huge help. I know it wont be easy but better that taking half the brake assy stuff out.

I live on Blossom Hill ....just below Neffsville. Any other tidbits you could give me would be a help....I'm havent found anybody cheaper than the guys you got it off of...although they are $245 for the same system where I think you said you paid $180....what ...5 years ago...if you know of someone that you think would be better let me know...
tks very much

How's it connect though? I believe when I did mine once I plugged in the hose from the master to the slave it was on there for good.

I replaced my master/slave this past weekend. It was difficult but I was successful. I agree with Playmaker...I could not detach the slave connector on my old one and frankly didnt want to try on my new one once I connected it...was afraid I would screw something. It would have been nice to only do the slave,(I had seen the one that had the bleeder) but until someone had proven to me that it worked I didnt want to take the chance.

well im looking for a master for mine now the slave works just fine and there is a quick disconnect right off the slave and the new slave comes with the tool to disconnect it but i does make it a pain in the *** to bleed out and you do have to remove the whole unit to do so proporly. (thus how i figured out my master was bad. i cant get the slave to throw the pin more then about 1 v1/2 to 2 inches. thus the squeeking and lack of ability to shift. so if anyone that has replaced there unit happened to save the master and line id be more then will to buy it off you. weather the slave is good or not idc.

You are welcome to mine. The only thing I would be concerned with is whether the master is good or not. I have no way of knowing....

When I changed mine I actually unhooked everything from one another. There is a white washer looking thing ya can slide down by the line for the slave cylinder and that unhooks the line. But once ya do that then ya cant just change one. But what I did was actually changed just one but i had to take it all apart and make sure it had fluid threw everything and there was no air in it. after I done that I had worked it in and out by pushing it down on a work table I have. Once it got really stiff then I put it all back together on my truck and I was good to go.

--- did mine the same way what i pita. the second time i replaced the slave i actually took the connector off it because it was steel and not plastic and just pored it in until it stopped bobbling then reatached it. not my master is blowing by so im not holding pressure and it wont disengage the clutch all the way. dont really wanna burn way 400 bucks for another brand new clutch
