hey guys,my dodge truck has a p 1281 code.The manual says that coolant temp is lower than normal on startup.Mentions something about thermostat.Maybe thermostat is stuck open?By the way,I just replaced that thermostat 6 months ago.is there anything else it could be besides a bad thermostat.Thanks.Also,my check engine light is not on.How could this be?

Thermostat is. Had to replace
mine a week ago do to the
same thing. Brass thingy with
a plug on the top.
