Default Pcm or connecting sockets ??

Here is my dilema. It's a '97 dakota 3.9. Stalls at idle when cold and stalls when running til warmed up. Code is P0351. I have checked and replaced many things( plugs, wires, coil, iac, air filter, fuel pump module, etc). I have narrowed it down to either the pcm or the connecting sockets. Wiggle test confirms that when sockets are wiggled at the pcm, two of the sockets will make the truck sputter and cut out. Now here is the clincher. It only does this when the engine is cold. After warmed up it no longer does it with the wiggle test. Pcm or connecting sockets?? If anyone has any insight to this problem I would appreciate some opinions. Mods?

pull the plug off and check the wires running in and wiggle it. See what happens. If u see one moving too much or not in enough u will know.

Varsis, I wanted to post the results of my findings as per your suggestion. The orange wire with the green stripe is a ground wire going to nearly every sensor and all injectors as well as the coil and many other things. I removed the pcm connector at the pcm and took the plastic cover off the connector to reveal all the wires and the connections to the pins inside the connector. As you may already know, the pins are held in place by little plastic clips that are molded to the connector. Apparently the clip that holds the pin into the socket of the connector for that orange wire with the green stripe had broken. Hence causing the intermitted stalling problems. This clip is not visible to the naked eye unless the socket going to the pcm is very carefully removed to expose the connections. A hard to find problem but never the less, one problem that is now solved. Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion. May have saved me a fortune.

Good to know. When I was wiring up my truck I broke that plastic clip and had some fun getting them to stay in place and I remember a wire missing and I had to open it back up and make sure it stayed... I rewired pretty much half of the 2nd connector... fun eh!

Yeah its been an expeirence. You wouldnt know if its possible to get connectors for the pcm? Maybe something to splice into the exsisting wire harness. Or would that be a junk yard item?
