Default Good looking towing mirrors?

I want to replace the current mirrors on my '98 Dakota. My passenger side mirror was taken out by some crazy in a u-haul van, and I figure this is as good a time as any to put on the mirrors I want.

I really like the mirrors on the Ford F-250 Super Duty.

Yeah, I know they're huge, but I tow a cargo trailer for work and would like to be able to see as much as I can.

Think I could modify those mirrors to fit on my Dakota? Where would I start?

whats ironic is that i personally think the slightly older f250's look like the dakotas, just by the headlight style... your going to have to do a lot of trimming to get them to fit and look decent on there

if you got axcess to body filler, industrail sandible glue, of fiberglass....then id say get the mount off the old mirror(dakota) and cut it off at teh base and mold the swivel part from the f250 and mild in and smooth it in....they wont be foldible though...

no, you would essentially have to cut the base in half to get them to even the right size you'd be better off just getting mirror extenders.
