Default torsion bar

Tryed to adjust my torsion bars on an 03 dakota quad cab 4x4 and they will only turn down it will turn up ony to its original position. The truck is measuring 35 1/2 from ground to fender and I did jack the front end off the ground. What am I doing wrong.

were they already cranked by a previous owner? maybe they are just stuck try spraying penetrating oil on them for a few days straight then try them again.

no problem now you probably wanna get it aligned so it doesn't wear hardcore on your tires and front end parts
