The headers would be worth it. They are dough thorely. He used to make the Mopar PPh headers, I also saw that they gave 41 ft lb of torque and 21 hp.

correct, he did make the PPHs.

and the PPHS where about the same price retail. Even a set of used PPHs can go for as much as 400$ USED... i got lucky with a local deal for 250 with ypipe and didnt have to pay shipping, unless 30$ in gas counts for it lol...

I know there is a difference between quality headers. and crap headers. I wouldn't even attempt to make my own. Why? Because it's hard as hell unless you have the right equipment, than testing. Modifying, I wouldn't be surprised if doug thorely had to make upwards of 50 "trial sets" before they got a good one. Mind you they know what they are doing, and each one is probably just fine tuning, as each is probably close in quality now, if you were to make your own i could see you making 200 sets before you got even close to a good set.

I wish I had the knowledge and tools make custom stuff like that. But I agree varsis that even if you made your own and they worked well a set made by the pros would be much much better.
