Replaced the speed sensor on my '00 dakota 4x4 3.9L when abs/brake light came on and speedo stopped. But abs/brake light still comes on 2-3 minutes after startup? also a clicking sound when brake applied before lights come on, clicking stops when lights come on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Does the speedo work now or not? I would check the wiring from the sensor and the connector at the sensor to make sure there isn't a problem with that. Where does the clicking noise seem to be coming from?

 

sounds like an electrical problem in your abs.
