Default Tonneau cover & hitch mounts

Damn, I seem to post a lot on here since I joined lol. I'm lookin to see what is a good idea for a tonneau for the bed of my dakota. My grandpa has a 2004 GMC Sierra and he has a hard tonneau that I love, but dunno if I want that because if I really have to throw something big in the back, you have to almost completely remove that tonneau and thats a pain. I'm thinkin about getting a viny top. My bro has a soft top (snap) on his 2002 Ranger Edge. Easy on and easy off. I was looking at either getting that or a velcro one.. which is the way to go? which is a better bet, including for the money?

Another thing. I bought the truck and it has a class 5 hitch which is good. The hitch mount that came with it is a Curt. I work at a small engine shop that we tow trailers around. We have several trucks at work and all the hitches (rigid, hidden hitch) have a hard time with the Curt mount. What I mean is that you can push it in so far and then you have an extremely hard time pushing it in the rest of the way and then once you get it in, you have to almost hit it with a hammer to get it out! Every truck that we have has that problem. Same with several of my friends trucks. Do Curt mounts suck that bad? I had to hit out the Curt mount when I got the truck because it was stuck in there! What kind of mount should I get?

extang is pretty nice. i have the full tilt snapless and have no complaints. tilts for most items (plywood or long items) or comes off with 2 struts and lifting. reasonable prices too.

I have a snapless for Advanced Auto Parts on mine. It works great and only takes about 2 minutes to fully store when you need the bed. Then another two minutes to put it back when you are done.

It was 195.00

Hi,

I have a viny top with snaps and no complaints here. I heard that the velcro one with time does not stick together as well due to rain and dust getting in the velcro.
